Jeff Weninger

Jeff Weninger has lived in Chandler with his wife and three children for more than 20–25 years. He is a small business owner (co-owner of local restaurants, including Floridino’s Pizza). He served two terms (eight years) on the Chandler City Council (elected in 2006; served alongside Orlando for part of that time) and later as Vice Mayor. He has served multiple terms in the Arizona House of Representatives (District 17 and now District 13), where he continues to serve while running for mayor.

Former Chandler City Councilman and Current Arizona State Representative. Focused on fiscal policy, deregulation, and state-level municipal advocacy.

Legislative Record

Small business owner in Chandler for over 20 years. Expertise in economics, budgeting, workforce development, and private sector operational scaling.

Matt Orlando

Matt Orlando is a Chandler native, Air Force veteran, and former small business owner. He has served on the Chandler City Council on and off for about three decades (first elected in 1990, with stints in the 1990s, 2004–2012, and his current term starting in 2019). He previously served as Vice Mayor and ran for mayor once before (in 2006). He is married with three children and two grandchildren, all of whom attended Chandler schools. In his personal time, he umpires baseball and softball.

Served multiple terms on Chandler City Council. Experience in municipal budgeting and regional transportation planning committees.

Joe Granado

Joe is a Chandler native, Air Force veteran (Air National Guard), business leader, and current ASU educator. He brings a background in construction management to his campaign. The theme of his campaign is to keep Chandler safe, strong, and affordable.

Lisa Askey

Lisa's goal is to keep Chandler a healthy, safe, and enjoyable place to live and work while focusing on long-term solutions for residents and future generations. Her campaign emphasizes practical leadership, economic vitality, and preserving quality of life through intelligent planning rather than dramatic change.
