Mrs. Rocha-Miller is a longtime Chandler resident, small business owner of Life Design Events, and former nonprofit director who worked with homeless families. She is making her second bid for Chandler City Council in the July 2026 primary after finishing 5th in 2024.
Rocha-Miller’s campaign carries a distinct left-leaning bent. She proudly touts endorsements from the Legislative District 12 and 13 Democrats, the Communications Workers of America union, and LGBTQ+ groups. While she has also secured support from law enforcement unions (Arizona Police Association and United Phoenix Fire Fighters) and Councilmember Matt Orlando, her strongest and most visible backing comes from Democratic organizations and progressive-aligned groups.
Her platform emphasizes progressive priorities: expanded mental health resources, inclusive community programs, stronger resident “voice” in development decisions, and a cautious approach to data centers and high-density growth. Her background in nonprofit work with vulnerable populations further reinforces her progressive stance on social issues.
Supporters praise her collaborative style and commitment to listening. However, many voters are concerned that her heavy reliance on Democratic Party organizations, labor unions, and progressive groups means she will primarily “listen” to those constituencies if elected — potentially at odds with Chandler’s traditionally moderate, family-oriented, and suburban character.
