Jane Poston

Mrs. Poston is an incumbent Chandler City Councilmember (at-large) elected in 2022 and currently seeking re-election in the July 2026 primary. A longtime resident, small business owner of J2 Media, and former city employee, she has a strong background in community service and previously served as Chair of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce.

While she highlights accomplishments in public safety, government transparency, ethics reform, and housing policy, her candidacy is significantly clouded by ongoing controversies. These include a past FBI investigation (closed with no charges) involving her business dealings with the Chandler Law Enforcement Association (CLEA - police union) and an active lawsuit she has filed against the City of Chandler related to those matters. Critics argue these issues create serious questions about potential conflicts of interest and her judgment as a sitting councilmember. Her supporters point to her experience and endorsements from police/fire groups, but for many voters, the lingering ethical and legal concerns remain a major point of contention in the 2026 race. It just seems a little off that she’s suing Chandler… and now she wants your vote to lead it? Maybe it's time for fresh leadership on the council.
